1. Check The Battery

After so long, it's common for batteries to become less efficient. This is general wear and tear and cannot be stopped.

You may find your battery is overheating or not charging quickly enough. If this is the case, it's time for a new one. You need to remember though that each phone has it's own specific battery.

We advise you to buy one from your original equipment manufacturer store. If you struggle with this, research what type of battery your cell phone model needs and identify the best one.

If you put the wrong battery in your phone, it will likely damage it beyond repair.

2. Buy a Replacement Screen Kit and Fix It Yourself

This may take longer than going to a store for a replacement but it can save you money.

You can purchase a replacement screen kit websites such as Amazon and eBay. You then can just go on Youtube and watch tutorials of how to replace your screen.

Once you have done this, you'll be able to do it quicker next time and could even charge people to fix theirs.

3. Use Rice For Water Damage

It's very common to spill water or a drink on your cell phone. When it happens, it doesn't always result in a ruined cell phone.

If it happens to you, there is a solution to try and save it, but you'll need to be quick. Simply take the back off the phone and take the battery and sim card out. If you don't know how to do this then watch a tutorial on Youtube first.

Next, place everything in a bowl or bag and completely fill it with uncooked rice. Leave for up to 24 hours and then take the items out. The rice will have soaked up the excess water and the cell phone should be dry.
