Google will close the Motorola Spain in December

A news that left us all amazed: Google closed the Motorola Spain. The entire team of the company will not make more of it from December 31 this year. Spain may not be the only one affected, the manufacturer Motorola that operates in more than 30 countries may be closed by Google in Spain.

For those who do not already know, Google bought Motorola in May this year and the company had already given signs of closure of some Motorola's offices in other countries.

The change by Google is questioned because Motorola Spain had sales growth of smartphones this year. So why Motorola continues in the UK, France and Germany, for example? Maybe it's tricky to answer this question, but indicates something that is a direct attack on Apple's iPhone.

The main point is that Google has decided to continue with the Motorola only in countries which the LTE network has a high development and high sales of smartphones, something that Spain is not fulfilling. It seems a radical decision based only on those conditions.

It's true that iPhone in Spain has low sales and it may be that Google wants to focus on those countries.

Google shows that the change in Motorola should be total. It should be a company that will have the Google Nexus devices and other adapted for the Android system.

Different than we imagined that Motorola renew Nexus devices, now it seems we will have a really new company "Google Mobility" and we think this could happen as early as 2013.
