iPhone 5 is dissected and its components revealed

Finished the mystery... the site iFixit, famous for opening various gadgets, showed how open an iPhone 5 revealing all its internal components.

According to iFixit, the iPhone 5 has undergone several changes over its mounting compared the iPhone 4S. The connector, for example, is smaller and it was necessary a suction accessory to remove Gorilla Glass screen of the iPhone 5. The screen is easier to be removed and this may facilitate technical assistance in the case of exchange with a broken screen.

The processor uses the A6 SoC architecture developed by Apple. The modem is the Qualcomm LTE MDM9615M to access the 4G LTE network. The battery revealed is 1440 mAh, practically the same battery of the iPhone 4S which has 1432 mAh.

Here's a valuable tip for you who think about opening your iPhone 5: Don't open it, but if you goes do it anyway, do not forget to disconnect the battery wire to eliminate the risk of dropping a load that can damage internal components of your iPhone 5.
