I am currently on AT&T but want to move to T-MOBILE for their International calling plan. If so, do I want the U model which is Unlocked? Will the U be the most universal platform phone as it is"unlocked? Or will the P work just fine with an AT&T sim card? On T-MOBILE just fine with a T-MOBILE sim card? Vis-versa: Will the A work just fine on T-MOBILE sim card? Maybe it is best to get the U model? Let me know... Thanks in advance!

Basically the networks, 2G, 3G and 4G bands are different. In other cases the devices may have more different specifications.

It really is a gorgeous phone. My contract for my current device expires in November and I really want the S8+ (or even the S8). I usually get my phones for between 0$ and 99$ (with 2-yr contract) because I get them about 1 year after they hit the market, but in this case it will only have been 7 months since Samsung introduced the S8/+, and I figure a price of $299 (again, with contract) is probably more realistic. We'll see … haven't had an "S" since 2013, my last two devices being from the Note series. But I really want it (did I mention that?) and in blue, if that's available around here.

Your "PhoneMore's Choice" is faulty. I compared XT1067 vs XT1609 and XT1609 vs XT1607 and the "preferred" choice was always the phone model on the right. I tested because I was shocked your recommendation would choose a phone model (XT1609) that was limited to one provider as opposed to one (XT1607) that worked on multiple providers.
