The news about Google's wireless service had been announced in March at the Mobile World Congress which takes place in Barcelona (Spain).

Tomorrow this news will come true, at least in the United States. The service coverage will compete with the US carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, etc.

One of the service promises is to allow the transfer of calls made via CDMA/GSM to the data connection, the service should route automatically. The service will also allow switching between carriers wireless and the Google wireless (depending on signal strength).

Google will charge its customers for monthly data usage. The cost has not been disclosed.

For now the service will be available only in the United States and for Motorola Nexus 6 devices. There are no plans for operation in other countries.

Google's vice president said the company doesn't want to become a major carrier and the service should work on a small scale.

Anyway, this service promises to wake up the cell phone carriers worldwide.
